Rock Solid Music is a locally owned music store in the heart of Midland, Michigan — built from a genuine love of music and a belief that every player deserves a place that feels like home.
Jeff brings years of hands-on experience as a player and has a genuine passion for helping people find the right instrument. Whether he’s tracking down hard-to-find gear or helping a first-time buyer find their sound, he treats every customer like a fellow musician.
Kristine keeps the heart of the store beating — managing the day-to-day, connecting with the community, and making sure everyone who walks through the door feels welcome.

Rock Solid’s experienced in-house repair tech, Doug Glazier is not just an excellent guitar player but a phenomenal repair tech when it comes to stringed instruments – so whether your instrument needs a setup, fret work, or a full restoration, it’s in expert hands without ever leaving Midland.
We work on all brands, all budgets, and all skill levels. Beginner instruments get the same care as vintage pieces.
