Refund and Returns Policy

1. Overview

At Rock Solid Music, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Return Policy applies exclusively to items sold directly by Rock Solid Music through our website, rocksolidinstruments.com (“Direct Sale Items”), which currently include branded hats, clothing, and apparel.

Important: The majority of products featured on our Site are sold through affiliate links or direct links to third-party vendors. If you purchased a product through a third-party vendor via a link on our Site, your return must be handled directly by that vendor in accordance with their own return policy. Rock SolidMusic cannot accept returns, process exchanges, or issue refunds for products not sold directly by us.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Direct Sale Items (hats, clothing, and apparel) may be returned if all of the following conditions are met:

2.1 Timeframe

The return request must be initiated within thirty (30) days of the original delivery date.

2.2 Condition Requirements

Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition. All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact and attached. Items must be free of odors (including perfume, cologne, smoke, or pet odors), stains, alterations, or any signs of use.

2.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return: items that have been worn, washed, or laundered; items with tags removed or packaging discarded; items showing signs of use, damage, alteration, or soiling; items returned outside the 30-day return window; and custom or personalized items, if applicable.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return for a Direct Sale Item, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact us by email at info@rocksolidinstruments.com with the subject line “Return Request.” Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

Step 2: Our team will review your request and, if approved, provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions within five (5) business days.

Step 3: Pack the item securely in its original packaging (if available) and clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the return package. Ship the item to the address provided in the return instructions.

Step 4: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Returns sent without a valid RMA number may be refused or delayed.

4. Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part (such as a wrong item shipped or a defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance for your return shipment, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

5. Refunds

5.1 Approved Returns

If your return is approved after inspection, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within seven (7) to ten (10) business days after we receive and approve the returned item. Please note that your bank or credit card company may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

5.2 Refund Amount

Refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the returned item(s). Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error. Any promotional discounts or coupons applied at the time of purchase will be deducted proportionally from the refund amount, as applicable.

5.3 Denied Returns

If a returned item does not meet the eligibility requirements outlined in Section 2 (for example, if the item shows signs of wear), we will notify you by email. You may request that the item be shipped back to you at your expense, or we may, at our sole discretion, offer a partial refund or store credit.

6. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to receive a different size, color, or item, please initiate a return for the original item and place a new order for the desired item.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a Direct Sale Item that is damaged or defective, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery at [INSERT CONTACT EMAIL] with your order number and photographic evidence of the damage or defect. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you, including return shipping.

8. Third-Party Vendor Purchases

As stated above, the majority of products listed on our Site are sold through affiliate or direct links to third-party vendors. We have no involvement in transactions with these vendors and therefore cannot process returns, exchanges, refunds, or warranty claims for products purchased from them. If you need to return a product purchased through a third-party vendor link on our Site, you must contact the vendor directly and follow their return procedures. We are not responsible for a Third-Party Vendor’s return policy, restocking fees, or refund practices.
